Its a very good initiative . However, please don’t get trapped into Corporate sponsoriship. Be selective in this. Otherwise gradually the core value and purpose will be lost. Now a days it has become a business by many psuedo cultural promotors. If you keep the core value and purpose intact I bet you will not only succeed but also bring changes and establish examples of such programs.

Please make sure the entire ambiance is Odia as much as possible. I had attended Prafulla Kar concert in 2009 . The announcer ( he seems to be an OAS officer by profession ) was the anchor. He was doing a spectacular job.

However, his accent and pronunciation were sometime very funny when it comes to pronounce “sh” and “s” . I told him, why to immitate Debanagari pronunciation and mix it with Odia, he immediately acknowledged that and rectified in his next anchoring moment. I appreciated the move.

We have already neglected legends like Mr. Nimain Ch. Through your website I appeal to all those who love Odia music, Please come forward before it’s too late.
